Technique

This 12-week Beginner Fingerstyle course is designed to develop your fingerstyle technique and give you an overview of fingerstyle guitar. It is designed to give you a solid foundation in fingerstyle guitar.

Rhythm is the most important aspect of music. We often focus too much on playing the right note but not enough on putting that right note in the right place. The problem is we don't know where this right place is and we don't know how to find it. So how can we learn good rhythm?

Music theory & visualization opens up the fretboard for you. Like a chess player who can see multiple moves ahead, music theory gives you the eyes to see what your options are all over the fretboard so you don't have to keep guessing.
